Guest carlton Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Hi Folks, can anyone help me I've moved into a house that has an alarm, but no codes, no name or manuals. Plus the company who intalled are no longer about. The alarm was disconnected by a tradesman while decorating. now I have the service error on the screen. how do a: get passed this & b: set a new user passcode? I believe that it's an Abacus 15R looking at the control panels on the web I have attached a photo Regards carltoncomltd@yahoo.com
Guest Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 I think you'll be needing an engineer! Depending on what was disconnected, whether it was correctly reconnected and whether fuses were blown in the proccess depends on exactly how much of a job this is. If it was all working before the tradesman disconnected it it shouldn't be any major hassle to restore it to it's former functions. Whereabouts are you located?
Nova-Security Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 not a 15r more like a 8p or could be a 6 depending on the age. www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name.
