Guest R Greening Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Hi, We currently have a concept 6 4 zone alarm. The basic set up is this. The main alarm box is in the airing cupboard with a remote key panel by the front door. The 4 downstairs rooms have a PIR each to make up the four zones. This system is very old and i'm considering replacing the system with a new one. With a new system I'd like to replace the PIR in the kitchen with a door sensor as the dog lives in there. I'd like to use the existing wiring and PIR's. Any suggestions. and what am i looking at cost wise? Thanks for any help
Brian c Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 It all depends on how much you want to replace and what you want to replace it with. For a new control panel, bell, and one detector and using your existing cabling I think around the £300 mark should cover it easily. This would depend on the existing cabling and detectors being usable. You could get it done cheaper, using lesser quality equipment. If you don't know......ask.
