Guest Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 If you are such an authority on SSAIB and NSI then feel free to discuss the matter in full on these Public forums, rather than making childish statements and hiding behind your gold medal. 48943 Whereas you're not hiding behind anything, what with not logging on.
Guest Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I never said they did, but as you seem to know more than all of us the least you could do is join and let us know who you are. The guests lounge is more for people with a general alarm query, not know it alls.
Guest Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 Let's just calm down a bit. I knew you were a member from your first post, I didn't realise you had inadvertantly logged on. Either way, something was learnt here today.
jb-eye Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 Very original Jeff, of course they are not the same and in the UK its acceptable to use any UKAS accredited inspectorateIt seems we agree "of course they are not the same"Two things here Jeff seems to think NSI/Nacoss is better than SSAIB undoubtedly he has opinions on unapproved installers like yourself. And approved installers by all accounts NSI/Nacoss is no better than SSAIB in fact they are equal in the eyes of UKAS they have both met and continue to meet the standards as set down by UKAS. to continually harp on about the fact that one inspectorate is better than any other is simply conjecture and suggests that UKAS do not do there job correctly.Maybee this is one for battle in the trade section?Anonymous or not the argument still remains. Its being addressed at this time, by much better informed people than me. Jef Customers!

Prosy Customers!
Paul Giles Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 would be nice to have been told about AXA! last i heard they would accept SSAIB as long as the company was ISO too. jb-eye Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 One for the trade Section perhaps, but as you were bold enough to make the statement in the PUBLIC section then perhaps you should be bold enough to defend your statement in the Public forums or are we concerned that this would be damaging to yours and your company's reputation. If we are all prepared to make comments and statements within the PUBLIC forums then we should be prepared to defend those staetments within the same forums instead of running for the trade forums, where the views would not be be so damaging. 48962 So good ill say it twice Jef Customers!
