Guest bart simpsons dog Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 hi, as a fully paid up memeber of the stupid club, im hoping one of you guys can help me. im trying to wire up the old house alarm in the garage to keep the theiving little scamps at bay. its an accenta g3 panel with a cqr integra sounder that used to play nicley together on the house. the markings on the panel are T , A, (marked together as SCB), D bell+, and B bell-. ive wired T to siren trig+ve, A to supply hold off 0V, B to siren trig-ve, D to supply hold off +ve, thought id cracked, battery was charging, the green led thingy came on, was well chuffed.... until i close the panel tamper, which sounds the alarm, let go, it silences. banghead . i know its an old sounder, looks as though it was built by eddison himself, am i better off just getting a new one?? please help before the antichrist from next door comes round with her rolling pin.
Guest Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 T from the panel should go to tamper return in the siren.
Service Engineer Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 It's just wired wrongly. T = Tamper return A = Hold off - B to siren trig-ve, D to supply hold off +ve ........................................................ Dave Partridge (Romec Service Engineer)
