For old time's sake

My first ever install, and I will be ripping it out tommorow as we're moving. I'll do a few things differently next time though. I did'nt leave enough slack in the cables, so even though there's a decent amount there, there's not as much as I'd like. There are also a couple of unmarked cables, which should be fun identifying. Also, I kept adding bits to it, so it does look a bit messy. The PSU needs a grommet on the mains input, but apart from that, I'm a bit proud of it! Apologies for the mess on the floor too

Not too bad that fella, try to get some belden for the reinstall though.

It'll save u grief in the long run as the Galaxy is fussy over shielding and earthing.

And you could have put the 12v cable from the psu in trunking instead of just clipping it to the brickwork

Good to see a monitored PSU though.

Thanks. Did'nt bother with trunking, as it's all gone now anyway. The PSU was only installed two weeks ago, so I thought it'd be alright for a couple of weeks. I connected the Trouble relay on the PSU across a zone, which triggers an output (LED) which I put in a surface patress/blanking plate on the landing, so I can see if it comes on.
