Guest Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 A decent pair of VDE side cutters are essential - prob one of the tools you use all the time in this trade, also a 1mm or 1.5mm slotted VDE screwdriver or terminal driver. A number 2 philips VDE screwdriver also. A decent calibrated digi meter, long 8mm and 12mm drill bits for going through walls. Also a 10mm 1meter drill bit for very thick walls you find in cottages etc or old large office buildings.

Guest Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 Also, how come you run two cables for Sky plus. 55743 That one's been answered. I know the word Premier wasn't mentioned in the several replies to that question but I thought you'd have read at least one of them.
Guest Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 i may love Premiers but don't think about em the whole time, maybe most of the time. 55754 But you do keep one by the side of your bed though.

breff Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 Thanks Breff,Can you tell me what sort of tools i would need. i have a sds drill, lots of screw drivers, snips, crimpers, multimeter, knifes, ladders, motovation! coat hanger! What other essential tools are needed. Im sure you can never fully lift up a floor board, so do you saw/cut them? 55728 Look for short boards, 90% of the time the plumber or electrician has already had some of them up. With chipboard flooring its a totally different ball game. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
