So converting from 12v to 240v cameras using the existing .75 flex would not comply with the regs. you should run 2.5mm cable to within 2 meters of the camera position and install a non-switched spur from there use .75 flex to your camera. As we've sort of discovered, flexible cables may be allowed under some circumstances but their use is generally classed as rough if used for anything more than the final connections of devices to fused spurs and the like, especially when they're run next to the co-ax as they generally are under the circumstances mentioned previously.
