creative Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Just received info on the new Pyronix TMD - 1st question is how would you walk test each detector as they have interlaced "zones" maybe I've missed something - any thoughts - I believe its going to be launched in August
Guest Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Each part of the detector is wired to a seperate zone in the panel (i.e. one detector uses two panel zones?)

Walktest as DNS said they use two zones on a panel so walktest each zone. www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name.
creative Posted July 16, 2005 Author Posted July 16, 2005 I uderstand the three outputs it gives - but because of the close interlacing of the pir's how would you be able to "knock" the single pir without activating the other pir/microwave as they are very close ie in the same housing and having the same field of veiw - has anybody had a sample to try
creative Posted July 22, 2005 Author Posted July 22, 2005 The detector Im talking about is the new Pyronix TMD-15 a dual -tek and passive in one housing - has anybody tested it - and can you walk test each detector seperatley - as required by En50131 ?
Nova-Security Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 - and can you walk test each detector seperatley - as required by En50131 ? 61895[/snapback] You can test anything seperatley if connected to seperate circuits. Also why, as required by EN50131 when you are supposed to test everything since BS 4737 :1986 for testing systems most of the new EN regs refer back to present standards as PD6662 points out. www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name.
