Guest gust Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 hiya all, ok i work for a alarm company at this time, but i'm not a compny man so would like to set up by my self. now i would still like to offer monitorig to an new customer that come over to me. however for me to get say red-care for then i need to be nacoss register. now i've got no problem applying for nacoss but they won't give it to me over nite. so how could i keep any system i take over or a new install monitored.? gust

In any case, for either inspectorate you will have to, amongst many other things, demonstrate your competence of installation by showing them a certain amount of installation that you have done. Having said that, you can still have Redcare or any type of monitoring on those systems, you just won't be able to have Police response. Why don't you set yourself up and get registered before taking over system that you can't?
