Would anyone know wher I can obtain the circuit drwaings for the Optima 2 plus panel. The psu has quite high ripple on it and I can't read all the values of componets. I guess this is why I am getting false alarms.

Most of the cheaper control panels don't have much DC smoothing so quite a lot of ripple is common. I actually doubt this is the cause of your problems.

The TX voltage should be between 17 & 24 VAC, and after regulation the AUX voltage should be around 13.8VDC but slightly higher isn't uncommon on the ADE stuff (upto 14.4VDC Max).

As for the Schematic, sorry but I doubt anyone here has one..

If you are worried about a ripple on your panel, you could change the smoothing capacitor, easy to find next to the (LM) Rectifier.

But there has been thousands of these panels sold and installed that are working alright, could it be a problem with your incommng mains or a lose connection somewhere.

No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name.

Thanks for all your replies. I agree with you comments about ADE although they seemed a little better before they were taken over. I have scoped the inputs and notice quite a high amount of ripple which may cause false triggering but don't know how the circuit has been designed.

I may replace all the psu components whilst I look for another panel. Any good ones to consider with RKP's. Ideally need a the control part housed in a steel box hence the Optima 2 plus in the first place.

Thanks again.
