I like the Pyronix Sterling 10, nice user interface and not that hard to install. As for the vocaliser - its nice, but I prefer the Texecom speech dialler.

At the moment I would recommend anything made by Texecom, as they really seem to be on the ball at the moment. I looked at the Menvier TS790 spec and that seems a pretty good system but I havent tried installing one yet.

Pyronix are bringing out a new panel in a few weeks, so it might be a good idea to hang on for a bit and see what these new PCX's are like.

The Eurosec Cp8LCD is a good straight forward panel to install and they are reliable also, depending on the property this may meet your needs.

The PCX range from Pyronix is essentially a marriage with the Castle Caretech Euro Meridian range with a few changes...enclosures and keypads . The Castle panels are very good and there tech support is excellent. I would be inclined to buy the 100% Castle product as "marriage" can often end in divorce. The panels can also send "sms" messages possibly saving on having to fit a vocaliser.

Are these PCX panels from Pyronix being sold yet?

Any ideas on price?

Or is the release imminent?
