JB_ Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Digicom PCOM300 65533[/snapback] Do you actually need a digicom? Do you know what they're used for?
Guest SteveOh Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 @JB..... Digi is to tell me when my alarm is going off..... the one ive specced will SMS me... (i hope)
dpaengineer Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 By Internal Sounder do you mean the likes of a sound bomb. I wouldn't bother. I'd just put an extension speaker on the panel. Plenty loud enough if you ask me. Trade Member
Monteey Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 The com300 you've speced won't do sms, only the com2400 does it. Guest IM_Alarms Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Have you got any experience in alarm install? As it is a couple of steps above diy, with the combination of kit you are choosing, but it'll be a nice home system if you give it some thought and care in your installation. Good Luck
whistle Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 you would be better off with a sd2 speech dialer it also sends sms ( i think )
