The Eneo DXR16-xx is a good unit and a cost effective alternative to the DM. Make sure you do your homework on how the units link together as some customers get annoyed about the switching of cameras to monitors when you link two 16 camera units together. There are only a couple of units I know of that do true linking (ie camera 1 on unit 2 is effectively camera 17 etc). The Panasonic does it very well.

You don't want to create a difficult task for a user if they are constantly having to think of "Select DVR 1 > Select Camera 2 > Select Monitor 2" is beyond a lot of guards.

We use Dowshu kit too, have a few installed. We just gave a presentation to some big customers last week and they loved it with all the features including the networking and central station features.They have latest edition unit out that incorporates P.O.S other features too that are up n coming.

If their tech help is poor its because theyve had a bit of upheavel lately and their guys are at full stretch. They are employing more people soon. We had an issue with them about a national account a while back and now all is sorted.

I have found Tecton to be the dogs nuts but they are a bit pricey and they make a 32 way unit with a built in re-writer, if not then Vista or DM will do the job.

Have you looked at the new Vi400 and Vi600 range of 16-way DVRs from Videoswitch?

Your can link them up to create a variation of camera sizes such as 32, 48, 64, even 160 cameras.

There well priced and easy to use.

We use Dowshu for one of our larger customers that has about 400 sites.

I think they are the nuts !
