norman Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 We have had this, and also redcare still working on one leg of the pair. 66442 Yup, red-care will work on one leg and happily sit there on a 50v 'dead' line. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
jb-eye Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 School had a problem with R/C 3 years ago due to activating ADSL. BT says must install new line for ADSL, now 3 years on customer has problem with phones and good old BT blame Customers!

Guest G.J.M Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Like many others I fiddled a bit in my youth speak for yourself, i had loads of birds so did not need to. it's went full circle since i got married though
Guest Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 but we note ADSL still present on Red Care Line 66473 Shouldn't be any problems with that as the DSLAM (ADSL doobry in the exchange) doesn't sync up until an ADSL modem is plugged into the customers end of the system.

The original problem 3 years ago was cured when the ADSL modem was removed, the point is it was never dectivated and the problem with telephones (not our R/C) 3 years on was external.Jef Customers!
