Guest Rocky Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 If I should choose to take over a site that is/was monitored, how do I go about setting up an account? Do the ARC's deal with anyone or do you have to be a huge installer with 100's possibly 1000's of customers?

You claim to work for a NSI gold company yet your lack of knowledge would suggest you have limited experience of this industry, this may well be the fault of your employer but I have trainees with less than 6 months experience in this industry who would not be asking some of the questions you are asking. You (quite rightly) say you are trying to improve you knowledge but for the level you appear to be at I think I would be asking for you to join the forum as a trade member and the forum vetting moderator would be able to substantiate you are indeed trade.Jef Customers!

Mavrick_001 Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Rocky, you'll need to be either nis or ssaib approved if your after responce for these systems.... I take it as you work for someone your on about a private job you want monitored.... best way is to get a company to take it over. Some of the monitoring stations will give you keyholder only responce if your not nsi or ssabi but then again you may as well fit a dialer on the alarm.... My suggestion is aply for trade if that's what you are as it'll stop all the confusion and let you have access to more knowledge than you could wish for CCTV Intruder Access Control Tony Hughes, Proprietor, TRADE MEMBER
