Doktor Jon Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 I've been contacted by someone having problems replaying recordings made on a Nadatel 4500 DVR (from memory I believe it's a 4 channel MPEG 4 jobby). As this is the first report I've had on this model, I just wondered if anyone has had any experience of using it, and if so what opinions? for now, D.J.
UltraHighResolution Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Hi John We sell the Nadatel SDVR4000 - is that it? Generally very reliable - good spec for the price Triplex, integrated CDRW, Network and browser compatible, user friendly, good image quality on playback. Never had a problem to date but happy to discuss / send you manuals etc if this is it. ATB Robin (Envisage Technology)
Doktor Jon Posted October 5, 2005 Author Posted October 5, 2005 Thanks for that Robin, According to Nadatels website, the SDVR 4000 is the established MPEG-2 machine, whilst the 4500 is the newer MPEG-4 varient. I appreciate your comments, as given the company's reputation I would have expected a fairly solid reliable unit; perhaps the person that contacted me has been unlucky enough to have an out of the box failure - such is life! Thanks for the offer, if I need any more details I'll get back to you. , D.J.
