Have rung Moreton Alarm Supplies and they say they have'nt had any for a number of years, has anybody else any ideas? Anyone got an old one lurking in their garage/shed somewhere or have any idea where they may be one thats no longer in use,I desperately need one as another control point to add to an exsisting system that has been fitted some 10 years(By myself)and has always worked perfectly, thanks Dave Walton.

For what a new panel and keypads would cost, an upgrade would be the better option and say the panel goes wrong after a few months and you wouldhave to replace it anyway.

You have had good value for money with your existing set up - time to upgrade.

I've spent an arm and a leg extending this property and still need to spend many more of my hard earned pounds to complete the job to the standard that I have maintained whilst improving the place over the years, believe me I'm at the stage where every penny counts, another factor is the time,or should I say lack of it that I have to spend removing the old panel(Its sited in the loft) and wiring the replacement and keypads, apart from the bricklaying and plastering,I do almost all of the other work myself, labouring, joinery.tiling,painting/decorating,fitting of windows, etc, etc,so if i could get my hands on a Optima 2 Plus RKP and only have to wire and fit that I would be more than willing to risk the system failing (It has'nt yet in over 10 years)for the time as much as the money that it would save me,so come on guys,do your best, help me out here, thanks,Dave Walton.

I have twice tried to register as a member, once about 6 months ago and again today,on both occasions the e-mail that was supposed to be sent to my e-mail address with the next step(Says it should usually arrive within 10 minutes)never arrived, what could be the problem,I would gladly register as I am a great believer and enjoy participating in forums such as this one,if you could sort this out/let me know what the problem may be I'd be very grateful,my e-mail address is d.w.walton@btinternet.com Many thanks,Dave Walton.

RICHL,an update to my earlier post,I thought thatI'd try to log in anyway(The e-mail still never arrived) using the identity and password that I'd given when registering,Bingo,it would appear that I am recognised as a member viewing forums etc and can use/view almost all of the headings on the page,installers/help/search/calendar/chat and gallery but when I try to use the "members" heading I get the following- Board Message "An error has occurred" and below that a seperate message saying something like,"You may not have permission to use/view this area.hope this helps sort/understand what is going wrong
