Just because a couple of people on here have the time and inclination to work out how to do it themselves does not mean that companies that don't know how to do it are either inferior or incompetent.

Hi Nova, I know that Mavrick worked out how to do it and read those posts as and when they were posted. I didn't include that option in my original post on this thread because I thought it would complicate things. The client had never used the system in this instance and therefore insurance wouldn't come into it. In the same vein, if we ever had to take over a panel that was locked, it wouldn't be our problem until we got it up and running and the client would have to inform their insurers.

Yes, if I came across such a situation and found the code locked in, I possibly would have contacted Mavrick to find out what to do.

I don't think that just because the 2 of you have worked out the "cheat" that you should assume that it is industry wide. This particular poster would be unlikley to come across anyone who knew how to do this - so why complicate matters by telling him that it can be done?

I appreciate your point. Have a good weekend :)
