Hi

Your probably going to wire end of line (EOL), and fit resistors. No standard to colours but if you go red black for power, blue yell for first device, green white for second and brown orange for third (one cable three devices) you should be okay.

Tamper Yellow and Blue

12v Ov Green and white

We used to use:

Green: + White: -

Red & Yellow: Zone

Blue & Black: Tamper unless EOL.

correct colours are:-

12hr Red/Yellow

24hr Blue/Black

power + white - green

however we don't use 'em

Didn't think there was such a thing as "Correct Colours". As each company uses different.

A large local round here [started in the 70's now sold out] used to do it that way. Is that not the old modern alarms way?

lol, pos colours for postive loops (alarms) neg colours for negtive loops (tamper) same as a patio contact

yep the old modern way.

Reading through this old thread just confirms to me why graded systems were inevitable.
