Guest ian23 Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 the system is 3 years old and according to the service log it had a new battery during its 3rd annual check. thanks very much for all your helps lads. all the best Ian
ian.cant Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Keep the system maintained Ian, its worth the extra cash layout. It also give you access to an engineer when you most need one (usually at night with the bell ringing) for what equates to few pennys per day. If you dont have the maintenance contract most companies will give the "sorry but no chance" answer at 3 in the morning, i wouldnt even answer the phone myself.......

After all, you wouldn't not service the car, as you'd then spend more time pushing it than driving it. as well as plenty of choice words Things wear out on the car and need to be replaced, The alarm is no different. Keep it well looked after and it'll give you years of trouble free service. And you'll find preventative maintenance is considerably cheaper than corrective maintenance when somethings gone horribly wrong at 3 in the morning.
