paul fae kings
Went to a large shop on a retail park today to take the system over.Just run of the mill stuff i thought opens the panel and nearly got blinded by the heat. The system is only 9 months old,but it turns out that since day one,the main pcb has been punting out 20.11 volts dc.Surely not ithought, but apparently so.Also couldnt find any meter readings, the amazing thing is though that it has worked perfectly for so long. I swear the battery was so hot you could hardly touch it,and was still toasty an hour later. Anyhow just thought i'd share that one with you Strange but true

Service Engineer
No mate, we had a faulty batch of Powersonics about 6 years ago, so i used my initiative and removed the one from my own panel. There`s a nice 7AH Yuasa fitted now. ........................................................ Dave Partridge (Romec Service Engineer)

Guest oldtimer
I had the exact same problem about 2 years ago with a Optima 2+ I phoned ADE and they said the voltage regulator on the panel was faulty and they said to check out any equipment that draws power from the panel. I eventually traced the problem to a compfort LED that was fitted to the bottom of an old H type bellbox.
