Guest Macflame
I spent nearly twenty years responding to the fruits of your labours. I was a Firefighter in London but now I'm retired (medically unfortunately) and living in Sheffield. A friend from the service went into the fire alarm business and is doing really well. I would have joined him had it not been for the accident. Oh well. Carry on the good work. You have saved many lives, property and broken hearts. :

Vince8282
Welcome Macflame I have a great respect for fire fighters so thanks very much for your service. I hope you are not too fed up with no longer being active in the service. I know you will enjoy looking around the forums and I'm sure you could tell us a few stories too. Best wishes Vince Practice in the morning, practice at night. Practice in the evening, until you get it right. Only make sure you are practising in the right way at the right time for it. Guest Macflame
Hi Pete. Many thanks for the welcome and great suggestions. Unfortunately I am not in the best of health thanks to some questionable surgery! (Am I starting to sound bitter and twisted!)Surgeons nearly killed me twice but saved me three times, so I'm still in their debt. My mobility has improved and I can get around o.k. so may be in the future I will re-asses things.
