Guest HaydnR
Would just like to say hello and introduce myself. I joined this comunity a couple of years back but I was very busy at the time and had forgotten about it until having a browse around last night. My family and I moved up to Fife earlier this year from Surrey where I had spent all my life. I have not been working for a year due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This didnt mix too well with my employment as a service engineer by //.National Installer.// Security for who I had been with the organisation for 14 years. I enjoyed the work greatly but the hours and pressure that I had been doing over recent years took its toll. I hope to return to work within the security industry in the future and maybe by means of this forum I could help share some knowledge. If anyone in the locality needs someone to foot their ladders give me a bell. Haydn

Guest HaydnR
Thanks chaps, I think there are a handful of service guys for //.National Installer.// in Scotland one of whom was a colleague when I was on install from the London office. I was working home counties and north west London on service before coming down with CFS and sods law says a vacancy arose in the Edinburgh office near where I now reside a few months before I was dismissed. I remember an article in the internal newsletter giving employee of the month to a service engineer from Aberdeen who I think covered most of the highlands and island, he was being praised up by his boss on what a dedicated engineer he was and how he put his job before anything else, but the thing that made me laugh was that it mentioned how he kept a spare control panel in remote sites and could talk someone on site on how to change it!! While the poor guys in the south were being disciplined for giving a n engineer reset over the phone for a missop on entry.
