Guest chas Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 After having turned the power off and back on I seem to have problems with the keypad. The buttons are illuminated and the day light and power lights are on but there no keypad tones or exit tones etc. The alarm appears to be setting but without any tones it makes it difficult. Anyone any idea what's wrong? Has something blown in the keypad?
norman Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Hi Chas, Depending on the type of control it could just be that the keypad has locked out. This could also be due to a weak battery. In the first instance down power and leave for a minute, re power and input your code. If you still have no joy it would be a good idea to get the system checked over by a professional. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Hi Norman, It didn't work. Thanks anyway for the advice. Will have to get someone in to check it out as you suggest.
