Guest rjbsec Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 alarmgard thanks for the tip! One other question about the iWISE is will it still be ok if the mice happen to run across shelves? Or will it see them and cause a fa? thankyou djrock Almost all pet-friendly sensors will suggest keeping the sensor clear of shelves, worktops, cupboards etc that could bring a pet/rodent in close proximity with the detector, so fit it away from shelves and hopefully all will be well. They used to call all such sensors pet-immune but they've learned a lesson and they don't generally call them that anymore!
djrock Posted November 29, 2005 Author Posted November 29, 2005 The shelves are on the opposite wall of the detector but what I was thinking unless the detector's are more advanced now compared to the old ones that had half the bottom part of the pir blocked off is if the mouse happened to be on a highish self that the detector covers will the detector see it? djrock
