Well there you go then - just goes to show that some of the manufacturers don't even know what they want doing with their products/manuals
Guest carnfield Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 1234 still doesnt do a thing it is flashing "tamper" and "c" ?
Guest Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 If the display shows C then it is customer programming mode, so you must have put the correct code in to get it into that state. I'm guessing you either haven't got a user guide or you haven't bothered reading it? One here if you require it. Optima_2_Plus_Customer_Programming_Guide.pdf
Guest carnfield Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 thats great thanks no don't any documents on the alarm, so this is very helpful
Guest carnfield Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 ok tried all what was on the PDF and still it says "C" and flashing "tamper" help!
Guest Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 There is a tamper fault somewhere. This requires removing\testing\replacing bits of the system and should only be attempted if you are competent to do so or it could end up getting worse.
FASTCAR Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Case tamper or remote keypad tamper (lid?). Regards.
