Guest APE Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Hi all , started fitting these panels and got me first prob ,the sounder wont work .Everything else is fine ,it operates in tamper when lid removed ,tried swapping sounder ,still same .So think its the hold off relay on the board ,but wondered if it could be anything else ie programming etc APE
ARJ Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Have you accidentally programmed a bell delay ? Does it work instantly from the Eng or User Test menu's? ARJ A nearly retired previous installer !
Guest Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Hi all , started fitting these panels and got me first prob ,the sounder wont work . That would imply that you are an 'installer' of some sort? If so, test for voltages in the right places on the SAB connections on the panel. If all is correct then either you're cabling is incorrectly terminated, damaged or your meter's u\s.

Yes of some sort ,dont do many installs thou .It doesnt work in test mode in engineers either havent tested voltage as i pressumed the panel was at fault ,as it works in tamp mode.Just thought could be summat simple. Thanx APE

"Assumption is the mother of all f*ck ups". As you haven't bothered to test anything and expect us to tell you what's wrong I don't see any point in carrying on with this.
