I may well do. Its just id rather be in a company that has jobs to do.. were as the lack of able bell boxes around make me wonder what the engineers do all day.

But, as you say, they cant be doing to bad to be still going.

Due to the high amount of take-overs and acquisitions, they may not be replacing bell boxes. And you don't have to be seeing dozens of bell boxes all day for a company to be busy installing.

Or, maybe they are expanding in your area.........who knows?

Maybe, maybe.

I think i will continue with the application.

Im sure there is lots more to the company than i think.

....... whats going on with British Gas these days?! They dont seem to have any national contracts and I havent seen any go up in a long time, anyone know?

As far as i know they dont do commercial stuff, only domestic hence no national contracts

Don't see much domestic either really, especially considering their existing customer base.

I met one of their engineers once while he was repairing a gas range in a showrom. Apparantly he was also the local alarm engineer too, and he seemed to not really know anything about them. :rolleyes: AFAIAA BG don't have an alrm division as such, just some existing employees who have 'done a course'.
