cdosrun Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Hello, I don't know your panel, but if as you say, there is only a global tamper, you can either wire all of the zone tampers in series (using a connection strip) and connect them to the global tamper, or use End-Of-Line wiring which your panel supports. Here is a link to a recent tamper discussion that might help to explain it http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/comm...?showtopic=7961 If you use EOL wiring, you will be able to establish very easily which tamper circuit is open when setting up. However, running a normally closed circuit maybe easier for you to setup. Consult your engineers manual for the panel, it should explain the difference. Here is a picture from another thread on the subject of global A/T http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/comm...pe=post&id=1088 Andrew Any statement made or information provided in this post are the mere opinions of the author, and no inferrence is to be made as to the quality of information nor should any reliance be placed upon its contents.
