Guest heliart
Could anyone help me with the connection of an external speaker to a LCDP remote keypad. On the main panel, and a 8XP expander, the external speaker has 2 connections, SPK+, SPK-, with the SPK- not being common to 0v into the panel from the network. Now, the LCDP remote keypad only has a single connection SPK output. I'm not really sure how you should wire this to an external speaker, the Texecom manual is really not that clear here. , Steve
Guest
Connect the speaker -ve to the speaker -ve output and the speaker +ve to the +ve on the RKP.
Guest heliart
How do you know that as the SPK description in the manual does not mention whether it's + or -. So, from what you're saving:- SPK+ goes to + on the network connection terminal SPK- goes to SPK
