Guest Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 I have no idea which bit you misunderstood, and I can't be bothered to work it out. Even if I did, I couldn't really answer in any terms other than already have as I don't know what equipment you've got so we'd be no further forwards than we are now, or 10 minutes ago, or last week even.
j.paul Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 I don't know what equipment you've got so we'd be no further forwards than we are now, or 10 minutes ago, or last week even. Small Scantronic panel by the look of it There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
bellman Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Well, since i now know what it is, yes, it can be defaulted. there is a section in the install guide that covers it in detail. Regards Bellman Service Engineer and all round nice bloke ) The views above are mine and NOT those of my employer.
djrock Posted December 28, 2005 Author Posted December 28, 2005 Thankyou all for your help! Sorry some of you are wondering what my panel is but I don't like posting this info on a public forum. One other question I have is do you need to remove the power to the detectors and bellbox when you go to power the system up since it say in the manual under Initial Start Up NO power connections to detectors, sounders or battery should be made at this stage. Note: If connections to the bell and AUX power are made when the system is powered up, damage to the main pcb may occur. Does this apply to defaulting? Thankyou djrock
