B) I have Scheduled in Installer to come and visit me at home 2morr from 9am. I will let you guy's know the out come of what they have recommend me.. Thank you once again Umster So you did what I advised, excellent - I've come across a lot of alarm wiring fitted by electricians so forgive me if I'm not automatically impressed. Had to tell a non contract customer today that the soonest we can come round is the 24th Jan!

Hi, Not all companys are that busy...Most of the companies I phoned were able to come within 2 days...good for me as a customer... All of them were either SSAIB or NSI Approved.

Galaxy 60 panel Pyronix KX15DTAM Setup 2 Gardtec G816 panel Gardtec Eurosec V40Q Guardtec eurotec V40DT Setup 3. Texecom Premier 24 Optex Rx 40 QZ Optex MX40 dual tec Setup 4. Castle Euro G3+ Panel Swan 2000 am PIR Anti Masking PIR Setup 5. Menvier m800 Menvier m net lcd keypad Pyronix ME12 Pyronix KX15DTAM Setup 6. Gardtec 595 Gardtec Eurosec V40Q Guardtec eurotec V40DT Setup 7. Castle Euro G2 EOL Prestige TD Twin Dual Passive detectors Castle Euro meridian eur-021 lcd remote keypad Exodus 4w series heat and smoke detectors Setup 8. Gardtec eurosec CPX control panel wires less or 595 wired Gardtec Eurosec V40Q Guardtec eurotec V40DT Which one of these setup's are better in terms of reliability, functionality and build quality. I would also like to add 2 x Heat and smoke detectors in the halls ways, some companies have told me that they are not allowed to do that anymore as NACOSS do not approve it is this correct? which make and model are the best ones to go for? morph Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 It would be better if you listed the panels with the devices as proposed by each installer. Most installers will not let you specify a particular device, they will use a standard product that they have evaluated for the proposed type of installation, it saves on the cost of carrying spares etc.

Is there a device missing from setup 1? What grades have been specified for each setup and did you get quotes for a monitored system in the end?

Setup 1, was Galaxy 60 panel and Pyronix DT PIR. Galaxy LCD keypad. All the setups mention are Grade 2+, But not quiet Grade 3. monitored systems
