Guest Umster Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I have never fitted any of the Pyronix DT's but I have fitted the Gardtec ones.So I would in this choice use the Gardtec DT's. But in everyday use we use Honeywell DT's or Gaurdall. Hi, Do you know if Gardtec do Grade 2 and 3 DT? Thanks

Zak Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Hi, Do you know if Gardtec do Grade 2 and 3 DT?Thanks All GardTec Eurosec movement detectors are Grade 2. For Grade 3, GardTec sell Rokonet iWise detectors, as Rokonet is their sister company. Guest Umster Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Gardtec sensors are excellant. Thank you
Zak Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Excellent, have you used them? how would you compare them to Pyronix You are going around in circles. You are asking a limited number of engineers the same questions. There is no such thing as the ultimate security system, the ultimate panel or the ultimate device. All systems that you have been quoted are good quality reliable systems. Different engineers appreciate/know the nuances in the panels but for regular domestic (and most commercial) installs all will suffice. Personally, I would not touch Pyronix but that is because of my personal perception of their products. GardTec has a great pedigree, good user interfaces, fantastic support and benefits from world class technology and development from their parent company. However, most companies would say the same about themselves. Galaxy is an excellent panel. We don't fit them. We fit GardTec as you know. Both will secure your premises the same. No one can tell you that one system/panel is better than an other; it comes down to which company you feel more comfortable with and possibly price. I will PM you some more in a moment. Zak Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 and we don't fit the 816. Only 595 and 872. 595 is better than the 816. Why do you specifically want the 816?
