Guest Softlad
Hi people - just thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Pete and I've worked as an install engineer for the last 15 years for a national company where I left on good terms. Currently unemployed and would like a job in Scotland as I plan to move there soon from NW England. If anyone can recommend a decent national company - I'm all ears ! , Pete
Vince8282
Hi Softlad Welcome to the forum. Me thinks you picked name with modesty ? But shouldn't you have got a job in Scotland before leaving old firm? Best wishes Vince PS All national firms are good, they have to be to be national but don't rule out small firms. Apply to them all and see what happens. Practice in the morning, practice at night. Practice in the evening, until you get it right. Only make sure you are practising in the right way at the right time for it.

Guest Peter James
Move south we need engineers down this way, but in all honesty if you're any good you wont be unemployed long in this industry wherever you want to live. Guest Softlad
Welcome to the forum.Me thinks you picked name with modesty ? But shouldn't you have got a job in Scotland before leaving old firm? Thanks Vince - It would have been nice to have done it that way and I could have transfered branches but I had family problems to sort out first and needed the time. I could still try //.National Installer.// and I'm sure they'd have me back in a snap but I'd like to see what else is out there. Move south we need engineers down this wayPete Thanks Pete, I've already been South (10 years) and got the t-shirt Kent (lovely), SE London and Essex. But now I want to go north for a wetter life.
