Guest Tony Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Suddenly noticed the front door panel running through the 4 numbers that make up all the zones, on a repeat cycle. Pressed the reset key but nothing happened. Put in our security code and the alarm went off. Only way to stop it was to switch the power off. But on switching the system control box back on the alarm went immediatly off again. So switched off. It looks like a new system will have to be installed but is there anything I can do in the meantime with the alarm to keep it working until its replaced?
jonnyboy Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 sounds like the processors buggered. You could try crashing it (full NVM Reset) and reprogramming it if you have the manuls for it?

No manuals I'm afraid. Whats the basics for a full NVM reset?. At least that will prove, I would imagine, if its worth keeping or not. T
morph Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Unfortunately we dont give out engineer manuals or details on how to default a system, unless your in the trade. An update would be a good move.
