Ard Disk Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 i can set and unset with the fob and even put in test mode If you can put a G593 into test mode, then you have a fob which is programmed as a Master code. Get to the Test stage, press NO once more -the screen says "Do you want to program Codes" (or "Co_" if you have an LED keypad) Press NO again, the screen says "Do you want to set Date and Time". Press YES and then your date in 4 digit format (today is 2501), Press YES then the time in 4 digit format (eg 0830) then YES. You have done it. Press 0 to exit the menu. Good luck... Come back if you have problems. With a Master Fob you can add new codes and fobs. Beware dropping them, or changing the battery while programming. You may need a full default reset. Adi Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 I'll do them 3 for a tenner I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
arfur mo Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 You can only change the time and date using a 'MASTER' code. your fob is programmed as a 'MAIN USER' we know this as you can get to rest mode, so even if you buy more fobs you can not program them in. Contact GardTech support TEL 0 1 6 1 6 5 5 5 6 0 0 and they will advise you on a local company who can help you. i expect they will come along and service your system, restoring a master code to allow you to administer your system is a very simple matter for an enginner used ti Gardtec Panels, so tops should be about If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
Guest rjbsec Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I'll be putting all Gardtec manuals on my website shortly. User only I hope!
