January 29, 200620 yr comment_84728 Went to one once and found the mains wired off a socket to the panel with no fuse spur in 6 core under the carpet 2 for pos, 2 for neg and green and white for earth. Technically, being AC, it wouldn't be +ve and -ve. February 10, 200620 yr comment_86333 Technically, being AC, it wouldn't be +ve and -ve. technically discription is wrong and you are correct but they may have wired to the 12volt DC Rail hence no battery (but very loud bang) - it is also a deadly fire hazard!! and all for the sake of profit.
