Guest spirochete Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Just as a follow-up guys,(not quite on the original thread topic but part and parcel of the same project)........ What, in your experience is the best /better type of sensor to use on 'up and over' garage doors? The usual surface magnetics are an obvious possibility, but maybe there is something just that bit better out there? (Thinking in terms of robustness/tamper resistance). ? Spiro'
Service Engineer Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 There are plenty of industrial type contacts on the market. Usually housed in Aluminium and sealed with silicone. ........................................................ Dave Partridge (Romec Service Engineer)
Guest spirochete Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Thanks 'SE', The Aluminium floor plates look an interesting possibility, I might well go for those. Spiro'
Guest alarm freak Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 i would strongly disagree with the fact its a superb panel to, the panel has a very short bell test 3 seconds i think hardly enough time to run outside to check if all is well
