Guest heliart
I'm about to complete my alarm system and fit the Bell Box. I've had the system on test for a month, and apart from a faulty smoke sensor, all works well. I'm unsure whether to fit the Bell Box as SAB or not. It's a Texecom unit. All the wiring is fully internal and fully protected, so do I really need SAB. Comments welcome. Steve
Monteey
You mean you dont want to connect the battery on the box? You really should as despite the fact all the cabling is protected, what measures would you have in place for someone smashing the panel off the wall from the inside, at least the bell going off in sab would be better than silence Mark Hawks Ex BT Openreach Field Service Now Self employed telecom and data engineer www.mphtelecom.co.uk Also back doing sub contract work in the security industry.
