Guest krull11 Posted December 9, 2003 Posted December 9, 2003 I have a concept 6 alarm and do not have the user manual ( installd by previous owners and manual not passed to me). during recent building work the alarm was activated as the builder moved various alarm cables. I now have the tamper button lit on the panel and cannot seem to do anything with the alarm..set reset etc does not work how do i get the alarm working again What do I do??????? Thanks
Service Engineer Posted December 9, 2003 Posted December 9, 2003 Sounds as though he`s done more than just move a few cables. The TAMPER light is indicating a wiring (broken cable) or detector fault (lid tamper), youll probably need an engineer to find the problem. But first i`d explain the situation to the builder and ask him to get it sorted, after all it was working before he started messing. His insurance should cover him for these things so if he cant sort it get an engineer out and forward him the bill. ........................................................
