Russ Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 I have a problem whereby my DVR has locked itself up. I have never put a password in, nor has my customer. I've tried the keylock and just enter combo, and every other normal factory default combo i.e. **** I've also spoken to LJD and they asked me to try a combination of buttons which has not worked either. Anyone have any ideas?

Ard Disk Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Sounds like an Ard Disk failure. If you power down the mains, and on pwering up it goes through part of its boot routine and then siezes -it probably cannot initialise the HD As Alarmguard says, get it replaced - quick while they've got stock:-) Covering Avon & Somerset, Devon & Cornwall www.Blanchard Fire & Security.co.uk NSI Gold
Guest The Installer Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 is it currently being displayed on a pc via lan or is it a simplex unit as it may not allow you access the menu when its being viewed on network or whilst recording - just a thought
Guest CCTV_SUPPORT Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 The JPEG2000 DVRs I have seen to get out of Keylock, you do the following: Hold down the Lock button for a few seconds, it will tehn ask for passwords, THe default password is usually blank, so just hit enter. What model was the DVR?
