avcctv Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Hi ,What costs installment (only installment - without equipment: pir detector etc. incl: System design and engineering, site installation, configuration testing and checkout) of typical alarm system in London (central) Wojt. Might be an idea to add how many circuits/contacts etc, how big the site is ie: three storey building or a bungalow etc. The older I get, the faster I was.

Guest Alarm Guard Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 In 1 room? Bungalow? Garage? Shop? or maybe in a one roomed bungalow with a garage and shop attached?
Guest wojt13 Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 or maybe in a one roomed bungalow with a garage and shop attached? Everything one where - it can be in apartment-house . Price of installment approximately (without equipment)
Adi Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 And how long is a piece of string. I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
arfur mo Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 or maybe in a one roomed bungalow with a garage and shop attached? nahh - its a one room bungelow with a 7/11 shop and swimming pool on top of that and now its got 'pervy' cctv thrown in before u go any further down this road of tears you are asking for (hopefully) a quality engineer - If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
Guest Alarm Guard Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I'm with Arfur Mo on this one, totally 2 Good tips for you (and everyone else if they want them) 1....Short cuts take longer 2.... Cutting corners costs more If we were asked to give a price for fix only, it would be a big no... We either do it proper or we don't do it. Try taking your own scissors to the hairdresser and asking for a discount Try offering to provide your own seat on a Ryan Air plane if they would give you a discount Yes, I can hear you saying that I am being silly..... but I am not. As far as I am concerned it is the same as asking an alarm engineer to use your equipment and do the job cheaper. Paul
