dommer Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 HI MY ALARM WORKS FINE EXCEPT WHEN THE ALARM GOES OFF THE INTERNAL SIREN WORKS, BUT THE BELL OUTSIDE DOESN'T. ALTHOUGH WHEN TESTING THE BELL FROM THE TEST OPTIONS, IT WORKS FINE. HELP, PLEASE.
dommer Posted March 16, 2006 Author Posted March 16, 2006 I AM TESTING IT FROM THE TEST OPTIONS. I SET THE ALARM, WAIT FOR IT TO BE ACTIVE, THEN ACTIVATE A PIR, SIREN BUT NO BELL.
Guest Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Firstly, give it a rest with the capitals. Secondly, I'm confused. You say you are using the test options and setting it then activating it. These are different techniques. Set the alarm, hide in another room then when it's set move in front of a PIR not on the entry route. If the internal siren goes off wait for 30 secs+ as someone may have wired all detectors on the entry route.
dommer Posted March 16, 2006 Author Posted March 16, 2006 The PIR's are wired into separate zones. When the alarm is tripped ( on any sensor ) the bell is not triggered. But does work on the bell test. ( Sorry about the caps ) , Dom.

Can you do a walk test on the zones and getting responses back from the panel? Watchdog Security (Manchester)
