UltraHighResolution Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Sorry Stevey I think that is game over on this thread, it could take 10 years to answer that question properly!
Guest Rockford Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 housing looks like some bad-boy Dennard or something similar...
Rich Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Why bad boy? Do you actually realise the difference between a camera housing and a camera?
electrocam Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 It's probably a broadcast quality Sony camera with motorised zoom lens inside the housing, probably 3ccd too. The pan/tilt unit is made by forward vision. My Trade Access/CCTV Member
electrocam Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Just a rather critical update, I found the correct baud rates etc and the receive pins in the camera head, and I now have a fully working camera, YAY! Now all i got to do is get ahold of FVS and order a proper cable to fit the bottom, unless anyone happens to have one kicking around? Trade Access/CCTV Member
jptaylor Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Been quoted 3 weeks delivery on a genuine Forward Vision camera by two major suppliers. Does anyone know where I can get one on next day delivery. Part numbers required: MIC1400 400-501

Does anyone know where I can get one on next day delivery.Part numbers required: MIC1400 400-501 Don't think you can get them elsewhere. From experience, we order ours 5 weeks before the jobs due to start. These cameras are so popular with customers that Forward Vision seem to struggle keeping up with demand. Good support though. I went up into the attic...I found a Stradavarius & a Picasso. Unfortunately..... Stradavarius couldn't paint, and Picasso made a shocking fiddle. jptaylor Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 ECCTVS have given one weeks delivery time, I hope they deliver.
